PARENT – TEACHER ASSOCIATION

The Parent – Teacher Association (PTA) of Dr. S. C. Gulhane Prerna College of Commerce, Science, and Arts is a collaborative platform that strengthens the relationship between parents and teachers for the overall academic, personal, and social development of students. The PTA facilitates meaningful interaction, shared responsibility, and constructive feedback to enhance the quality of education and student welfare.

OBJECTIVES

To foster effective communication between parents and teachers
To monitor students’ academic progress and overall development
To involve parents in institutional growth and quality enhancement
To address academic, behavioral, and welfare-related issues of students
To support initiatives for student development

FUNCTIONS OF THE COMMITTEE

Organize regular PTA meetings and interactions
Discuss students’ academic performance, attendance, and behavior
Provide feedback and suggestions for academic improvement
Support institutional initiatives related to student welfare
Strengthen parent participation in quality enhancement activities
