COMPUTER SCIENCE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Computer Science was established in 2009 and is one of the most dynamic and technology-driven departments of the college. The department began with two undergraduate programmes: BCA and B.Sc. (Information Technology). In 2021, two postgraduate programmes, M.Sc. (Computer Science) and B.Sc. (Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics), were introduced. Further, in 2022, two additional postgraduate programmes, M.Sc. (Information Technology) and M.Sc. (Mathematics), were launched.
The department aims to provide a strong theoretical foundation combined with practical skills in computing, programming, and emerging technologies. It prepares students for professional careers in software development, data analytics, networking, cyber security, research, and pursuing higher education and advanced studies.
